Portrait Photography

I’m going to get serious about my ambition to be a portrait photographer.
I don’t really know much about it and I don’t know of any photographer famous in this field.
I had thought that not having a long list of photographers I’m aspiring to be like is a bad thing, but I’m not sure it is.
I have no pre-conceived ideas in my head, giving me the freedom to find my own style. This might be my way of justifying my lack of research into what makes a good portrait photographer.
I like taking photos, and I like getting paid, so I’ll start with that.
To get paid, I have to take photos of people that they like, and then they tell their friends and I get more work.
I think that’s as complicated as my “business plan” is going to get for a while.
I’ll let this blog know how it goes. For the moment no one is reading this, except the spammers, and I guess they don’t care about my ambitions. *waves*
Anyway, that is all.
Anyone that knows me in Melbourne, call me up for a free portrait session. I guarantee I’ll take photos of you, but you might not like them.
Now that’s all.
